“Moving to Bucktown is like returning home for Balanced Flow in a lot of ways. Dr. Lee started much of his work helping people in this neighborhood as he lived there for years and also taught yoga at Zen Yoga Garage and Corepower Bucktown. Dr. Hertsberg actually lived right around the corner from the new location and saw her first patients in the neighborhood as well. Balanced Flow definitely has roots in Bucktown. On top of the sentimental value of the move, Bucktown has more of a family-friendly atmosphere while still being trendy and progressive – a perfect match for what our clinic has grown into today.

 

We really want to integrate into the community, give to it and grow with it. We’re actually installing a mural on the Claremont side of the building to add to the character of the neighborhood. This will be our flagship Balanced Flow location and our permanent “home” with plans to use it as a model to expand into more locations in the future. It’s like we’re all grown up now and moving away from our little River North apartment and building a house in Bucktown. This location has much to offer such as easier street parking, being on the first floor with a ramped entrance, a walkable friendly neighborhood with many restaurants, shops and attractions. Our service offerings remain mostly the same with some additions such as nutrition consulting, but we’ll have a much nicer facility that is newly built specifically for what we do. We can’t wait to be in the new clinic. It’ll also be great to have easy access to Stan’s and Big Star!”
