Lauralea is a true advocate for her patients with authentic care and desire to help them recover from their ailments and achieve their optimal health and wellness goals. She has a passion for bioidentical hormone therapy and has trained extensively through Worldlink continuely advancing her knowledge. She uses her expertise in hormone therapy to create drastic positive transformations in her patients’ lives. Lauralea is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a unique background as a licensed registered nurse for ten years and a retired 20-year veteran firefighter/paramedic. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Masters of Science in Nursing and is licensed as a registered nurse and paramedic in the State of Illinois. She is also a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and an associate member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. In addition to her work at Balanced Flow Wellness, Lauralea, works with individuals struggling with opioid addiction in an outpatient setting. Lauralea enjoys spending her free time playing softball, golf, and with her family.
